Greetings, participants of the Canada Cup - 2023 Edition.

It gives us great honor to welcome you to this year's tournament which we've planned to ensure you will have a memorable visit to our beautiful city of Montreal, filled with many things to see and experience. This event is meant to be unifying so we wish you interesting encounters and amazing moments, on and off the ice. Enjoy your stay and make sure you have a fun experience above all!

Collectively, the Toronto and Montreal Gay Hockey Associations have decided to pursue a unique LGBTQ+ ice hockey tournament, Coupe Canada Cup (previously called the Eastern Canada Cup), which rotate annually between the 2 cities.

The main reason for moving ahead with this approach is the increasing number of tournaments and gay hockey-related events throughout North America and the rest of the world. Under the current economic conditions, the 2 associations strongly feel it’s better to unite our efforts and present one memorable hockey event per year.
